CitJo: News Sharing Platform app for iPhone and iPad

CitJo aims to provide Local news updates in real-time through our app to the people residing in rural areas in their own regional languages. Because most of the important news are not showcased by the mainstream media because they happen in the rural areas of our nation.

The main objective of our app is to help bring out this local news in the form of videos made by the local journalists of that locality to the concern of the nation and with the public support gained, the issue will be brought to the attention of the Public administrations & Public representatives.

Journalism is a noble profession but with the inclusion of profits, TRPs, and commercialization, this profession is corrupted and we want to try and solve this problem from its roots. Journalists, Reporters, and News anchors want to cover real news to its truest forms, moreover, there are citizens who want to know this news and CitJo will act as a bridge between them. The app is also can be used by the public representatives and local govt bodies or authorities to share verified updates and be in regular touch with citizens of their regions.
